Awesome Hockey Reality SeriesApr 15, 2007
By JJGuy If you like hockey and getting inside the minds of coaches who pick the players - this is a great series.
While not as polished as some of the typical reality shows - it is a great peek into hockey "tryouts" and just what it takes to impress the scouts.
If you or your kids play hockey - it is worth having. My kids (10, 7, 5) really like it and watch it every few months. The show went on hiatus during the lockout but resumed in January 07 on GlobalTV (Canada Only Unfortunatley) and no online episodes for USA viewers (big mistake) - so - for now, this is the only way to get a hockey fix. The aspiring players featured have great character stories of sacrifice, dreams and determination. Great for children to see how hard work and dedication can pay off - and being a good sport about not making the team - Worth it.
Idols on iceJan 07, 2007
By Kees This is like the Idols series on ice. And it always makes you wonder what happened to the winners. Entertaining, but not mindboggling.
